  • Result: Obtained government licensing and imported total and partial losses sealant products on ongoing basis

Case 17:

  • Parties: Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), Kuwait Petroleum International (KPI)

  • Sector: Oil & Gas, Refining

  • Year: 2005 – continuous

  • Our Function: China market advisory, Initial market direction consultation

  • Result: KPC/KPI signed Agreement with Sinopec in June 2011, after 5 years of negotiations, to set up a $10 Bn USD 15 million metric tons JV refinery in Donghai Island, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province of China. However, the implementation of the project had been delayed several times. The project construction started finally in 2017, and is expected to finish and be operational by 2020

Case 18:

  • Parties: Oman Oil Corporation

  • Sector: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals

  • Year: 2003-2005

  • Our Function: Mandated China investments advisory & China entry

  • Result: Oman Oil invested for the first time into China in two projects; one joint venture in Shandong Province on Aromatics, and another project in one unified platform for municipal civilian gas pipelines network in 50 Chinese cities
